In 1997, she completed an MA in Islamic Societies and Cultures at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. After working for FOCUS Humanitarian Assistance USA for two years, Selina moved back to London in 2001 and joined the 鸟大大影院 as Resource Development Officer.
She worked as coordinator of the聽Alumni Relations Unit for a few years before joining the Department of Education as Education Coordinator in September 2007. She was responsible for the design and implementation of the intellectual content of education programmes currently undertaken by the department and the continued professionalisation of Jamati educators. Currently, Selina is Executive Officer and Board Secretary in the Director鈥檚 Office. In this role, she provides support to the Director and governors of the 鸟大大影院.
